Parody: Meekvs.Drake

This project was based off  a parody. At the time  Meek Mill and Drake, two well-known rappers were in the middle of a conflict. To create this i took a scene from drakes newer song hotline bling and put an cut and pasted an image of meek mill by drakes hand to make it look like he was being dissed. This image represents true real life factual events.

Apple 2.0

This project was based of photo manipulation of an already existing logo. I took the apple logo and copied one half and flipped it to the other side to create a mirror affect. For the background I filled a layer pink and then used the line tool to create a bar fading affect and made them various shades of yellow.

Fine Arts Academy Logo

This image was created for the fine arts academy at heritage and includes all of the branches of the academy. The academy contains Dance, Fine Arts, Musical Theater, and Music. I took images from google that represented each branch and placed them in a balanced form. To create the text i used the text tool, on two of the letters i went into the 3D workspace and created shadows to create a 3D affect.

Personal Logo

This image was supposed to be a personal logo. I found a tutorial on the interweb about making hippy/70s poster looking affects. I took an image of myself and followed the instructions to make my face look posterized. In the background i used a simple gradient from purple to orange. To get the text to look that way i had to download a font and warp it to bend like text would on a 70s poster.

These are two images i took in Maine. Each photo was edited and included in the 7 principles of design piece. To include them into the piece i had to manipulate their contrast and saturation to make the colors more vibrant to fit the category they were supposed to fall under.

7 Principles of Design

In this gif i created 7 different images to explain the 7 principles of design. The 7 principles are movement, balance, design, unity, contrast, pattern, and emphasis. After creating all of the images i assigned them to certain seconds to create  a gif, or overall continuous composition.

Unfinished

This was a stop animation gif done with the same toy from the two previous works. In this gif i had to assign movements of the indian man and the background to certain seconds to create a composition. Each cloud and the toy had to move to different angles and places within the image to give an affect that the toy is falling. In the end the indian man is supposed to blow up into a mushroom cloud.. but we'll see if i get around to that.

Stop Animation

In this picture i used the same toy from before but outlined him with bright colors to make  the toy stand out more. To create the background i used the gradient tool to get the dark to light pink affect. To make the clouds i had to get an image of a cloud off google, make the image black and white (adjusting the reds a little to create more blackspace), and then painted the rest of the background that i didnt want in the image black. After doing this i inverted the image and defined the cloud as a brush preset making it a paint brush. I did this for each different cloud and  placed them over the pink gradient to make the background look like a sky.

Tutorial

This picture comes from a tutorial project. I found a stop animation tutorial and tried to create that affect with a little 50 cent parachuting indian. I took a picture of the toy, trying to make the parachute open like the toy was actually falling. I cut the background out from behind  the toy, copied him 3 times, and then placed him at different angles to create a falling affect. I also made the background from scratch and will explain that process in the next post ^^^^^^^^^

Self Portrait

This picture is an edited self-portrait created in photoshop. I took a picture i had previously taken of myself and edited the color of my eyes and gave a fading/cut effect at the bottom of the photo. To change the color of my eyes i had to use the  color replacement tool. To add the bar affect of the bottom i used the line tool, filled the lines in black, and set the weight a little heavier to get a bigger line.

Future Hendrixx

Future is a popular modern rapper. He's my favorite rapper of this century. His music always solves my problems. I hope to meet him someday.

Recreation Project

The Original: A picture of the rapper "Logic."

Redone: Done with mostly the color replacement tool, also with manipulation to color/brightness and hue/saturation. After the colors were added, I added the word LOGIC going across his face, copied it, cut it in the middle, and shifted the top half to make it look more distorted.
